	V&O Machine, Inc has been in business since 1977 and is located in Woodland California, 20 miles north of Sacramento.  We specialize in prototype and small production runs using a combination of CNC and manual equipment.  Our owner/manager is an engineer so we often take on projects that have more engineering content that most other machine shops.  Our machinists are also experienced in prototyping and are particularly helpful in the prototype and early production phases of a project.  A good example of how we have helped one customer is the Sprayer Nozzle shown at the left.  Our customer was using a standard plastic nozzle in his chemical dispersion equipment which had a very short life.  We reversed engineered the parts and changed the material to brass greatly increasing the life of the nozzle and eliminating the main failure point of his system.  We typically manufacture a year’s quantity, about 200, and hold them in our stock for multiple shipments throughout the year.  If you couple shafts to motors, electric or hydraulic, please make sure that your take a look at our patented line of step size rigid couplings.
